Neesha N. Rahim

Neesha has had almost 10 years of development experience with various New York City, non profit organizations. She has helped various clients with board development efforts, direct mail and annual fund, major gifts, grant writing, and database management. She's created and implemented fundraising plans, has advised on Capital Campaigns and developed a broad range of expertise. She has helped develop creative strategies for non profits and has advised on how leverage Web 2.0 tools to raise funds.

Prior to consulting, Neesha was the Director of Donor Relations at Seeds of Peace. While there, she helped more than double their revenue and moved donor retention levels up by 30%. With a broad range of expertise, she created their first ever annual fund (direct mail), stewardship, major gifts, and database management plans. Prior to her experience at Seeds of Peace, Neesha was Director of Development at St. Aloysius School, where she was able to triple the funds raised via events and further develop their long range plan.

Before working on the fundraising side, Neesha worked on program development at The Center for Children and Families in Queens and at UNICEF in New York City.

Neesha holds a Masters Degree from Columbia University where she studied Social Work and International Public Affairs.
